Dave Payne

Dave started his television career as the face of the Five children's strand Shake! He continued on as both presenter and producer of the show for two years – airing live every Saturday and Sunday morning. He then moved onto Five's younger strand, Milkshake! for a year before becoming the studio Director.

As a keen sportsman, he was pleased to be asked to present the football series Extreme Football with ex-England defender, Greame LeSaux and after the success of that, he presented Extreme Football Extra, both programmes appearing on Five. He also presented the music competition Live and Unsigned, aiming to find the best unsigned music acts in the UK.

Anyone who meets Dave will know he’s a born entertainer and having previously been an entertainment manager in Europe, he excelled in the stage production of the Milkshake! Live Show.

It seems Dave’s talents don’t just belong in front of the camera. He's written, produced, directed and edited for well over 4 years with Five, and now can be heard introducing the likes of CSI, UEFA Cup football and Home and Away as a Continuity announcer for them too.

He’s fresh, humorous, captivating and above all, a lovely lad!
