Making her presence felt as the newsreader in the TV in the corner of the room at Channel 4’s Big Breakfast, Jasmine’s daily early morning starts made a huge impression on the bleary-eyed consciousness of the Nation’s early–risers.

As the weekend news anchor for London Tonight she has gained many fans. It has also made her a dab hand at grilling live studio guests from politicians to talented teenagers. Jasmine’s news background gives her authority but at the same time she has a warm and approachable energy.

Jasmine has been an entertainment reporter and presenter on BBC’s Liquid News programme and now on ITV2’s Showbiz updates.

She has reported live from the red carpet numerous times with stars like Matt Damon, Tom Cruise and Scarlett Johansson. In 2008 she followed Sir Paul McCartney around the West Bank in an armoured vehicle documenting his first ever concert in Israel.

She has campaigned for the homelessness charity Shelter and is an Ambassador for the young person’s sexual health charity Brook. She sings Soprano in her village choir.
