Jonathan began his television career on Living's 'Britain's Next Top Model' as an expert panelist and consultant producer for three series.
Following the success of the show, Jonathan was asked to present BBC3's 'Britain's Missing Top Model' which was part of the channel's Beauty Season and went onto win the RADAR Media Award for Best Factual Programming.
Jonathan is a huge foodie and an expert in Caribbean/Chinese cooking. His multi cultural heritage is expressed through his unique cuisine and knowledge on global food trends. He has been a regular contributor on Market Kitchen since it began in 2007 and has appeared on shows such as Ready Steady Cook and The People's Cook Book.
Jonathan is keen to eventually front his own cookery show, combining his two great passions, food and fashion.
In 2009 Jonathan filmed a documentary for BBC One called The Marchioness - A survivor's story. This highly acclaimed film follows Jonathan as he attempts to heal his emotions after surviving a national disaster twenty years ago. His personal and painful account examines the lasting effects of grief, survivor's guilt and post traumatic distress disorder. Jonathan's honesty and empathy makes for a moving but ultimately uplifting experience.
Jonathan recently featured as a judge on Young Talent of The Year for BBC3. He has recently curated a new book called "Jerry Hall - My life in Pictures", which was released in October 2010.
Jonathan recently aired on Young Beautician of The Year for BBC3 - A series which celebrates young trade talent across the country. Jonathan is currently filming the Mary Portas Project with Optomen. Jonathan filmed the Great British Hairdresser which aired on E4 on the 18th April. Jonathan is also commencing filming for BBC3's, Hot Like Us due to air in the autumn. Jonathan takes on a mentor role as model couples compete against each other, with the winners receiving a modelling contract with a top agency.
