Born in Essex but raised in Shropshire, Kat began working as a concierge for a travel tour operator and moved to London when she was 19. Shortly afterwards she started working at a presenters agency and while there was inspired to try her hand at presenting.

In 2006 Kat could be seen keeping the students and insomniacs company while presenting The Mint for ITV1, ITV plays flagship show, where she gained a huge amount of live TV presenting skills. Kat kept the calls coming and conversation flowing while interviewing whichever celebrity guest had dropped by the Mint mansion that evening.

As well as this Kat could be spotted over on ITV2 match making singletons on Playdate. Earlier in 2007 Kat joined Bam Bam as his co-host on London's Capital Radio, on the 7-10pm slot Mon to Fri while also doing various other bits for the station, including Entertainment Weekly, Rugby coverage down at the O2 and any red carpet premieres and events that were happening that week in London.

2007 also saw Kat becoming a computer geek fronting a daily computer games show for Esport called The Hub. As anchor of the show Kat provided the computer gaming world with gaming news and current/future releases!

Kat returned to Capital for her second stint early this year to co-present every weekday evening from 7–10pm. In addition, Kat also presents The Big Top 40 Show every Sunday between 4-7pm.

Having gained a great deal of live TV/radio experience Kat can think fast on her feet & handle anything thrown at her.... even when her co-hosts stole her clothes from the studio and she had to walk home in a Spiderman suit!
