Tim Fornara

Tim is currently a presenter/producer at Film 24. His charisma and spontaneity have recently seen him get great interviews with the likes of; Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Ricky Gervais, Liam Neeson, Anne Hathaway, Steve Carrell and his old pal Colin Farrell. A skilled editor, he cuts some of his own work and has also written programmes, such as Film24’s 2008 London Film Festival Special.

Tim’s natural charm, roguish nature and quick wit make him very popular with audiences and stars alike. Add to that, his good looks and credible presenting style and it’s easy to see why he’s one to watch.

Before choosing presenting, Tim worked in many areas of the media industry. At sixteen he landed the lead role in The National Youth Music Theatre's production Pendragon shown on Broadway, New York. After that he had the lead in an ITV children's program, spent three years in a very successful band Worlds Apart (selling 1.5 million records), and has also acted in several films including What a Girl Wants and Oliver Stone’s, Alexander – where he was initially casted as photo double for Colin Farrell.

In 2006, he formed a music production company Setup Productions and has written music for several signed acts. He has composed incidental music used on Channel 5 and ITV shows. Tim now manages an up and coming funk/electro band – Kojo. Tim currently also writes for popular music webzine MILK.

Tim began presenting on a home improvements show for Channel 5 and since then has worked on an array of shows; The Great Big British Quiz (Channel 5), 9 Live (TV E4), and Taste (SKY One). He also presented for the new music talent show Live and Unsigned.

Tim’s down to earth nature is complimented by his love of playing sports, favorite amongst them include snowboarding and football but his main passions are film and music. His past work makes him uniquely adaptable for all walks of presenting. When he’s not working he likes to cook, read history, play his guitar and watch 80’s comedy.

In the past Tim has modeled for major brands such as Vodaphone, Adidas, Fiat and Sony.
